To be a customs officer, you need to have a degree in law or commerce. The mandatory documents for applying for a position with Dubai Customs are your passport, visa, and Emirates ID card.
Candidates who are successful in their interview will need to provide proof of citizenship, such as a residency permit or driving license from their home country. You will also need to pass an aptitude test that measures your knowledge of the Arab world and the English language. Salaries start at Dh1000 per month plus accommodation and transport allowance. If you can complete 12 months on the job, you will be eligible for a basic salary increase of Dh2000 per month plus a relocation allowance.
